Chris Brown Tattoos

Chris Brown is in an awful mess these days dealing with the allegation of basically beating up girlfriend Rihanna. While Chris has remained pretty quiet about the whole incident, one thing is for sure he has a huge love for tattoos. He broke all sorts of laws when he was 13 years old when he got his very first tattoo.

Below is a list of Chris' tattoos:

1. He has three stars behind his ear.

2. Jesus with the music notes on the upper part of his right arm, which Chris says signifies the gift to god gave him to sing.

3. The letter C (looks like a graffiti tag) and added a hand image on the upper part of his left arm. The hand means Chris holding his own name, his own destiny.

4. 2 ups 2 downs on his left arm under the C and hand.

5. A spray can underneath the 2 Ups and 2 Downs on his left arm.

6. The letter B for his last name

7. A skull with a halo above it on his right hand.

8. A angel and a ninja on his right arm that are battling each other and in between them are the words Darkness to Light.

Chris explained the reasoning behind his angel and ninja tattoo:

"me being a kid but being bad, being with the wrong crowd, doing the wrong things, but following my own path. This is the demon that I used to fight when I was younger, this is the angel, they just battled."

Chris is also quick to admit that his mother was not very pleased with him when he told her he wanted a tattoo when he was 13 and was even more angry when he went behind her back and got one anyways.

Fred Durst Tattoos

Limp Bizkit has decided to get back together and put aside their difference and make a new album that will drop sometime this year. They have decided to get back together and put out another album because they feel there is no good music out right now. One thing is for sure, Limp Bizkit's front man Fred Durst has a huge love for tattoos. Before his metal/hip hop band, Limp Bizkit made it big Fred actually worked as a tattoo artist. This probably explains why Fred has so many tattoos. It is unclear to exactly how many tattoos Fred has, he had nearly half of his body covered in them. He has both arms completely sleeved, half of his back done, some of his chest, as well as one on his neck, one on his hand and a few on his legs.

Below is a list of a few of Fred's tattoos:

1. A very large angle design on his back

2. A fairly large flower tattoo on the back of his neck

3. Some sort of spiral design on his left leg.

4. Two black x's on his middle right finger.

5. The Mona Lisa on the inside of his upper right arm

6. A portrait of Kurt Cobain and Elvis Presley on the left side of his chest

7. A moutain with the sun coming up from behind it on the top of his right shoulder

8. Barb wire around his right bicep

9. A fairly large portrait of Albert Einstein on his right calf

It is safe to say that Fred will be constantly adding to his tattoo collection.

Usher Tattoos

The very talented R& B/Rapper and father of two is no stranger to the tattoo gun. The soulful singer has a small tattoo collection of his own, that he loves to display to anyone and everyone who will pay attention. Unlike most celebrities Usher does not try to hide or cover up his tattoos. He has them in fairly noticeable places.

Below is a list of Usher's tattoos:

1. Usher has a small black star on each hand in between his thumb and index finger.

2. He has a fairly large black tribal design on his left shin.

3. A colored tattoo of a break dancer on right shin.

4. He has Usher tattooed on his left bicep in graffiti type writing with a sword going through his name.

5. Just last weekend in Las Vegas Usher was getting a sleeve worked on. No details on what the sleeve is of. The only thing that is known is it has special meaning to Usher.

There has also been some speculation of two other tattoos that Usher has. One of them being the name James tattooed on his upper left calf. (James is Usher's brother's name) Also there has been some talk that Usher got the letter K that sits inside of a heart tattooed on one of his hands. Supposedly, Usher lost his virginity to a girl named Karen or something to that effect and he felt the need to mark that on him for the rest of his life. However, not one single picture can be located of either of these tattoos. So one may think that this K thing is just a rumor.

Evan Rachel Wood Tattoos

The young 21 year old actress is probably most famous for her many independent films roles as well as her past relationship with Goth god himself, Marylin Manson. Evan has appeared in several movies in her short career. Evan became more well know after she was nominated for a Golden Globe for her performance in the movie Thirteen. Another love of Evan is tattoos. She has several of them, including a few that she regrets.

5. Evan's latest tattoo is on the bottom of her neck and it reads "All that we see or seem is but a dream within a dream.

Evan has no problem talking about her tattoos and the meanings behind them. Here Evan explains her black heart and lighting bolt tattoo as well as her strawberry tattoo she got covered up.

"That movie (Across the Universe) changed my life. I got a freakin' tattoo on my ankle for the movie. It's strawberries, where the leaves are in the shape of a blackbird and diamonds for (Beatles song) 'Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds.' I got to sing 'Blackbird' (in the film) and my (character) name is Lucy in the film, so I got the diamonds."

"I kind of always thought I would get a tattoo but I was waiting for something really special. This was a moment in my life I wanted to mark. I turned 18 and I was living on my own for the first time and I was in New York filming a Beatles musical. I thought it was a good time."

"It's supposed to be a strawberry with leaves in the shape of a bird, but everybody says, 'Is that a ferret sticking out of an apple?'"

"It's a lightning bolt, for David Bowie, who inspired me to act and sing, and a black heart," she says. "That was my present (from Manson). Somebody came to the house. We both got black hearts. It represents mad love."

Origin of Tattoo Art

Origin of Tattoo ArtTattooing was very common among all tribes across the world. Tribal people used animal bones as carving tools/instruments in tribal tattoo art. Tattooing was an accepted norm among these tribes although it was a painful process.

Most designs of tribal tattoos were replicates of animals, flowers, and other shapes as seen in nature. You can perceive these tribal tattoo pictures instantly. Tribal tattoo designs encompass tribal rose tattoo, tribal crosses, tribal dragon tattoos, tiger tattoo, turtle tribal tattoos, and lots more.

Origin of Tattoo Art

Tribal tattoos art and tribal tattoos designs do not depict any significant meaning in the modern world of tattoo designs. Tribal tattoos were essentially abstract tribal art forms put together with curves and lines. Ancient tribal tattoo pictures were in typical black colors. Recent depictions of tribal tattoo designs display innovative colors and tattoo designs like skull tattoos, star tattoos, heart tattoo designs, fairy tattoo designs, tweety bird pictures, lettering tattoos, and similar more.

Koi Tattoo Design

Koi Tattoo DesignLike many popular elements from oriental tattoo design such as lotus flowers and dragons, koi fish tattoo designs have permeated into Western tattoo culture - despite the negative connotations tattoos have in Japan (tattoos were at one time illegal and are often associated with the Japanese Mafia). The Japanese tattoo artists who first started inking kois were inspired by an oriental legend that said if a koi carp could swim upstream the river to Dragon Gate on the Yellow River, the koi would be rewarded by being transformed into a dragon.

Koi Tattoo DesignIf the koi was caught, it would lie still one the chopping board and accept death honorably - like a Samurai warrior. For this reason, koi tattoo designs represent courage, perseverance and tenacity through life's difficulties, aswell as honor in failure.

Koi Tattoo DesignA koi swimming downstream usually means the tattooee has overcome their difficulties, whereas a koi swimming upstream implies that the tattooee is still struggling through hardship.

Daring to Have Tribal Dragon Tattoos

No one would ever dare to explain why a Dragon, a legendary creature, has created a huge impact in the lives of people today. Is it because people have heard a lot of stories about it, which makes it real? Or is it because the stories that were told since long time ago have been embodied by the people, made these affect their lives and daily living?

The answer may be vague, but the again, dragons, although mythical creatures, have existed in the minds of every person, and will continue to play in the imagination of the future generations.

A legendary creature made into symbols

Since no one would ever dare to prove the existence of dragons, people since the ancient times have created an image to portray how the legendary creature looks like. Based on stories passed from one generation to the other that would often describe the physical attributes of the creature, people saw the real image of a dragon.

They made sketches, and formed sculptures of a huge animal. The size would often be described similarly, but other attributes are different. Chinese dragons are longer, swims on air, and would often symbolize kindness and goodwill. On the other hand, Japanese dragons do not have wings, love the water, and have three claws.

Dragons from Europe are usually depicted of having three heads, aggressive, and burns villages. There are other illustrations of dragons, depending on a certain culture. In general, there are cultures that would portray their dragon as virtuous, but there are also cultures that would label dragons as ghastly elements.

Dragon symbols made into body art

After several pictures of dragons sprouted out, people used the symbolism for themselves. In the form of tribal dragon tattoos, people from different cultures have radiated their might to their enemies. In fact, several tribes would often paint their bodies with a dragon design before going to war. This is to show to their enemies that they are tough and fearless.

But tribal dragon tattoos do not usually mean the same thing. There are also cultures that would place these on their bodies as a sign of good luck, good health, and good fortune. These are commonly seen on Chinese cultures. Aside from body art, Chinese dragons are also a usual subject on paintings, pottery and embroidery.

However, there are cultures that used creature as a symbol of their deviancy to their religion. For instance, those who are against the Christian religion, would place dragon symbols around themselves and worship this mythical creature. They would often attack the church of Christ with this symbol, since it was mentioned in the bible that dragons are creatures from the underworld.

Dragon Tattoos today

A lot of people love tribal dragon tattoos, not only because of the unique design, but because of their legendary significance and symbolism. Tattoo artists have also crafted the design to make it more modern and attractive. Some would combine colors of red, yellow, and green to make the tattoo radiant and eye-catching.

Rumer Willis Tattoos

Rumer Willis is not really a celebrity herself even though she has been appearing in some movies here and there. But the daughter of Demi Moore and Bruce Willis seems to have a love for tattoos. The 20 year old as at least 4 tattoos. At first glance you would never imagine that Rumer has tattoos. This is the beauty of tattoos, people you least would except to have one usually have more than one.

Here's a list of Rumer's tattoos:

1. She has a blue little bird on her right shoulder blade

2. Some sort of symbol in black ink on her right wrist

3. A little black rosary on her left ring finger

4. "Be Present" written in a fancy writing going down the left side of her rib cage.

It seems that Bruce nor Demi have not expressed any disliking to their daughters tattoo collection and it might be a good thing because there is a high possibility that young Rumer will add another tattoo to her collection one of these days. Rumer is also a great example of having multiple tattoos and not being perceived as trashy. Yes you can't appease everyone when it comes to tattoos, but tattoo placement is key when deciding to get a tattoo. After all if you were to first look at Rumer you probably wouldn't notice any of her tattoos unless you got up close to her. So if you are concerned about where to get your tattoo maybe you should consider some of the places where Rumer has hers. Please note that the tattoo on her rib cage is highly painful so think long and hard before you decide to get a tattoo there. Also if you are dead set on getting a tattoo there be prepared to only be able to take the pain of getting that tattoo for only a few minutes at a time. Don't for a minute think you are a pansy if this happens, tattoo artist are used to this, because this is a highly painful area to get tattooed.

A tribal tattoo is quite an extreme tattoo; it is a black design that is usually applied to the upper arm or back. The original wearers of tribal tattoos used the designs to show their status within their community, it served a purpose to warn others of their rank. This is obviously no longer the case; however it is worth taking the time to understand the importance of the tribal tattoo before having one done.

Taking the time to understand the culture and history of a tribal tattoo, shows a level of respect to a civilisation that has long passed. Although, that being said we no longer look at a person's tattoos to establish their success as a hunter. Nevertheless, it is important that the original inspiration remains.

Star Tattoo Pictures - Getting the Designs You Want

Looking for good star tattoo pictures online should a fun and rewarding experience. While it can be, there are still way to many people getting frustrated and even settling on designs that they only "sort of" like. The main cause of this is search engines, which pull up a lot of low end galleries that have tons of generic tattoos. Here are some quick tips which can help you find the tons of great star tattoo picture you're probably missing out on.

Let's get straight to the point. Search engines are great or finding a wide variety of things on the internet. We all know that. They just aren't as good when it comes to locating great tattoos. All that seems to pop up are these bland galleries that have tons of nine year old artwork, even when it comes to star tattoo pictures. On top of that, most of these galleries have the same exact design as about one hundred other places.

They don't really care about the kind of artwork they post on their pages. The more the merrier. They will even go as far as to put up artwork that wasn't even meant to be used as real tattoos! It's sad, because people will end up picking star tattoo pictures they find there, thinking that they will make a good tat. Then they go to get it inked and it comes out looking far less crisp as it did on the paper they printed it on. Why does that happen? Because tattoos need to be drawn a certain way when sketched and a lot of the designs at these galleries are just random images that they've found.

Ok, that's enough of that mess. Let's see how you can find some great star tattoo pictures on the web...

The fist thing I want to say is that you are always going to have to watch out for "less than" artwork when looking for star tattoo pictures. This following way to search for them is included, but it gives you a far better chance of finding the truly great artwork, unlike search engines.

I am talking about internet forums and they are fantastic places for seeing where other folks are finding great tattoos. If you use a forum's "search" function, you can pull up every single past topics on tattoos. Once you have this list, the rest is pretty straight forward. You just scan through the posts and see where other people are getting good artwork for their tattoos. Most of the time you will come away with tons of galleries that you have never seen before and the quality will be much better than you are used to when looking for star tattoo pictures.

It's just an alternative way of finding some truly superb star tattoo pictures when you are tired of the struggle with finding them the traditional way.
